BACHELORSDEGREEIf you are an Engineering Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opening for you based in our East Wenatchee, Washington location! You will be joining a global leader in the development and manufacturing of custom instrumentation used in Military, Aerospace, and Industrial applications. This candidate's focus will be on leading a design engineering team to support the product realization process. This includes translation of customer specifications into high quality and highly manufacturable instruments used in demanding applications. In addition, the candidate will be part of a collaborative and multi-functional management team responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the company and providing organizational leadership to implement the strategic plan.AS AN ENGINEERING MANAGER, YOU WILL:Plan and direct all aspects of engineering activities and technical personnel, ensuring technical solutions satisfy marketplace/customer requirements and meet internal quality standardsDevelop and implement plans and lead resources to ensure that product development objectives are metRun engineering project management process and lead projects or steering committees to drive key engineering programsWork seamlessly with other company functionsContinuously mentor and develop engineering team members to optimize their career growth and organizational effectivenessContinuously supervise, develop, and document quality system requirements within the department to ensure global product quality and service requirements are satisfiedSupport Sales & Marketing in the promotion of new product designs to meet customer needsWHO YOU ARE:You model collaboration across the organization. You rally others behind common team goals.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an ABET accredited schoolEight (8) or more years of relevant engineering experience is required.Proven track record to lead engineering teams and effectively collaborate in a multi-functional organizationDemonstrated strong communication skills across all levels of the organizationMust be a U.S. Person per ITAR Regulations - sponsorship will not be provided for this positionWork AuthorizationPer ITAR requirements, an applicant must be a U.S. Person to be eligible for this position.
