Engineering Manager (Level K) to lead Propulsion Systems
Engineering teams supporting either the B-52 Commercial Engine
Replacement Program (CERP) or the 777X airplane program. One
position will be responsible for the B-52 Engine Build Up (EBU) and
Strut Build Up (SBU) team. The second position will be responsible
for the B-52 Installations Analysis and Auxiliary Starter Air Unit
(ASAU) team. The third position will be responsible for the 777X
Installations Analysis team. All three positions are in Everett,
Washington.This position allows telecommuting. The selected
candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of
the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible to support development of either the B-52
Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) or the 777X
- Responsible to lead the integration, development, design,
analysis, validation, certification, and production of the engine
build up and strut build up for the B-52.
- Responsible to lead installations analysis and integration,
development, design, analysis, validation, certification and
production of the auxiliary starter air unit for the B-52.
- Responsible to lead installations analysis for the 777X.
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical
activities in the areas of Flight Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements
policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides
technical management of suppliers and leads process
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with
customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.This position must
meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person
as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US
Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher in an engineering or science related
- Experience in propulsion engineering as a manager, lead
engineer, or integration leader.Preferred Qualifications (Desired
- Experience in propulsion integration and hardware
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in installations analysis.
- Experience in engine and strut build up.
- Experience supporting the development of components and systems
including design, analysis, test, validation, certification, and
