looking for a General Manager/ Sales Coordinator who will oversee
the daily operation. This is an excellent opportunity for the
visionary who shares our "Work hard, play hard" philosophy! The
General Manager/Sales Coordinator will oversee all daily hotel
operations and achieve planned goals for revenue and profit while
maintaining standards for guest satisfaction, employee engagement,
quality assurance, and asset protection. Financial management
skills are critical to the success of each of our managers in order
to meet goals established for operational expenses and labor cost.
Our General Managers are also responsible for building, training,
and mentoring a team of employees who strive to be the bright spot
in each customers' day.
We are looking for someone who can grow with our company and move
up in rank. You will be required to fulfill multiple roles and
oversee multiple projects, as you will be the main contact for the
property. There is room for growth to oversee multiple
1 Develop short term and long term financial and operational plans
for the hotel which support the overall objectives of the company.
Prepare the annual hotel budget.
2 Cover the desk when in need of coverage.
3 Monitor the performance of the hotel through verification and
analysis of guest satisfaction systems and monthly financial
reports. Initiate corrective action.
4 Establish and maintain a pro-active human resource function to
ensure employee motivation, training and development, wage
administration and compliance with established labor
5 Develop new programs which result in an increased level of guest
satisfaction and operational excellence.
6 Implement and maintain local and national sales/marketing
7 Prepare and implement the hotel's annual Sales and Marketing
Plan, make sales calls to key accounts and potential clients, and
capitalize on all revenue opportunities.
8 Aggressively pursue revenue goals and effectively utilize yield
management and revenue maximization tools.
1 Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and
familiarity with brand specific property Management System(s).
2 Thoroughly evaluate a STAR Report and make rate changes as
3 Ability to exercise excellent communication, presentation,
organization, time management and listening skills.
4 Ability to use analytical skills for measuring business potential
and value to the hotel.
