them. We are seeking a visionary Principal Service Engineer to lead
AI architecture initiatives that transform IT service delivery at
scale. This role will design and implement AI-driven guardrails,
governance and solutions to optimize workflows, enhance resilience,
and deliver exceptional caregiver experiences. They will translate
complex caregiver, business, and technical requirements into
resilient, compliant service architectures that meet KPIs for
availability, quality, cost, and caregiver satisfaction. This role
will design the future of reliable, scalable, caregiver and patient
focused AI services. Providence offers hybrid work options for
candidates living within a daily commuting distance—up to 65
miles—from any of our primary office locations listed below.

important details regarding this position: This is a hybrid role,
involving a combination of in-office and remote work each week. The
weekly hybrid schedule will be determined by the manager based on
departmental needs. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in
Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
-OR- a combination of equivalent education / experience 8 or more
years of related experience Strong experience in automation,
specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual
processes Strong experience with n-tier solutions Strong experience
with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to
simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and
platforms (manually). Strong experience influencing engineering
team members in translating customer and technical requirements
into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations
Strong experience leading and representing the Service in backlog
discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of
Live Site requirements. Strong experience leveraging data and
metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using
logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Strong experience in advanced problem solving using systematic
procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause
analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Computer
Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a
combination of equivalent education / experience Experience in a
Healthcare environment 8 or more years of experience in enterprise
and cloud technologies 3 or more years of experience working with
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Translating business,
caregiver, and technical requirements into resilient, compliant
service architectures that meet KPIs Owning service disruptions,
applying advanced diagnostics, and restoring service quickly while
innovating from past experiences Designing and managing alerting,
telemetry, and recovery systems to ensure 24x7 uptime and
operational resilience Creating cost models, analyzing operational
data, and driving efficiencies to maximize financial resources
Acting as a thought leader, mentoring team members, and driving
adoption of new technologies and best practices across IS Salary
