Responsibilities: Planning and designing various structural systems
and components to withstand different types of stresses and
pressures. Conducting feasibility studies and site inspections to
determine the suitability of construction plans. Using specialized
software such as Revit, Mathcad, and CAD for creating detailed
structural designs and plans. Collaborating with architects and
construction managers to ensure the structural soundness of the
designs. Preparing technical reports, designs, and drawings to
present the design, analysis, and project progress. Ensuring
compliance with the design specifications, safety standards, and
clients' requirements. Conducting risk management to identify
potential hazards and to ensure the safety of the structures.
Applying knowledge of AASHTO, ACI, and environmental engineering in
the design and construction process. Performing structural design
and calculations accurately and efficiently. Attending project
meetings and providing technical advice to team members and
clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural
Engineering. A Master's degree will be an added advantage. At least
5 years of experience in a similar role, with a specific focus on
bridge design. Proficiency in using structural engineering and
design software such as Revit, Mathcad, and CAD. Excellent
knowledge of AASHTO, ACI, and environmental engineering principles.
Strong understanding of structural analysis and design techniques.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. Interested in
