Employee must have the skill and knowledge to perform in all of the
general functions of the Assembly Mechanic listed below:
Assembly/Installation Structures
Sub Assembly
Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, work orders, etc. to
assemble and install to quality requirements parts and
assemblies.
Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate
assembly progression.
Setup and perform all manual and automated assembly operations, and
portable machine functions required to accomplish assignments.
Perform any and all required pickup, rework, fabrication, change
incorporation, functional testing or check during or after final
assembly and/or assembly progression.
Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies,
etc.
Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish work
assignments.
Report and/or investigate job handicaps such as: errors in parts,
assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc.
Routinely move product within the immediate manufacturing work
area, including across isle, using shop assigned equipment as
required and complete transactions necessary to move product to the
next operation. On an exception basis, move product to the next
operation within a building.
Requirements:
For safety purposes, sturdy, full-cover, low heeled shoes must be
worn in the shop areas.
Dresses, skirts and jewelry are not allowed in the shop areas to
avoid accidents and injuries.
Safety Steel-toed shoes/boots
WORKERS MUST BE ABLE TO START ASAP!
Workers must be able to work any shift needed.
5+ years of experience (A&P license is not a requirement)
Looking for composite Mechanic Contractors to do rework.
Must be able to pass the Plate Test
Blueprint required
Experience working on composite aircraft is required
Must provide a copy of the job description to your resource/s.
Pay and per diem only, for those who qualify for per diem.
1 - Paper test
2- Section is for them to set their countersink depth.
"Practice"
3- Install three fastener. - 1)Hi-Lite, 1) Countersunk Hi-Lite, and
1) Countersunk Rivet. They have 1hour to complete this.
If they go straight to do this and they get it wrong, without
adjusting their countersink depth, then they fail the test.
