Team needs knowledgeable and experienced engineers for a
career-enhancing opportunity! - The ALIT Configuration Management
team is growing its footprint and needs engineers with a background
in configuration management and/or working directly with Boeing
partners and suppliers. - The team will be part of a group of
airplane level integrators providing cross-model, cross-functional,
technical leadership working on a wide range of assignments. -In
this role, team members will gain technical experience with
engineering configuration management, supplier assessments, and
process/application improvement while working as part of a larger
cross-functional team. - This position will also have a significant
amount of both domestic and international travel. - The position
will allow engineers the opportunity to expand their overall
network and work directly with ATFs and SMEs and present
information to senior and executive leadership.The SOW for this
position may include:
- Configuration management oversight and support for the 787
Program
- On-site work at Boeing partners and suppliers performing
technical assessments.
- Preparatory and post-assessment activity to provide actionable
tasking to improve partner and suppliers in the management of their
technical information.
- Process improvement, advising application development.
- Technical coordination for resolution of configuration
management issues
- General project leadership and supportThis position must meet
Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as
defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US
Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. - -This
position is an onsite position. The selected candidate will be
required to perform work onsite in Everett, WA.Position
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, and
management and compliance verification of process and product
baselines of complex products.
- Defines, plans, coordinates and conducts product and subsystem
level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative
products.
- -Analyzes complex product trades and/or changes and develops
technically complete change proposals.
- -Contributes to the development and implementation of
Configuration and Data Management standards, processes and
tools.
- Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management
requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design
data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinates the integration of product elements and analyzes &
resolves issues with engineering product structure.
- Develops, integrates and implements engineering technical
program plans including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons
learned spanning multiple engineering functions.
- Works under general direction.Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors in an Engineering discipline, relevant experience or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Broad understanding of the BCA Engineering function and overall
787 value stream
- Strong knowledge of AS-9100, BAC Specs, and Boeing product data
management systems
- Experience with Boeing QMS
- Previous experience working directly with Boeing partners and
suppliers
- Knowledge and experience with application development is highly
desirable
- Comfortable dealing with a contentious environment
- Ability to collaborate with people from diverse
backgroundsTypical Education/Experience:Mid-level (Level 3)BS
degree in an Engineering discipline and typically 3 or more years
of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.Senior (Level 4)BS degree in an Engineering discipline
and typically 5 or more years of related experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.Subject Matter
Expert (Level 5): BS degree in an Engineering related discipline
and typically 15+ or more years of related experience or an

the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Applicable and
