Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking mid-level Equipment & Tool Engineers for Boeing 777(X) Production Engineering in Everett, WA.

The positions are for second shift and hours are 2:30 pm - 11 pm PST

Primary Responsibilities:
Program, integrate or troubleshoot industrial robots from well-known Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) including ABB and FANUC
Program, integrate or troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Numerical Controls (NC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), or Drives from Siemens, FANUC or Allen Bradley
Optimize complex robotics and automation equipment for safety, ergonomics, quality, flow, reliability, or maintainability
Generate system specifications from production system requirements
Manage projects and complying with industry standards including electrical and safety codes
Hardware or software configuration management
Work in a cross functional team alongside manufacturing, quality, safety, services, research and technology, suppliers and vendors
Communicate, collaborate, coach and mentor others

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in accredited course of study in engineering or engineering technology.
Ability and interest in working second shift: 2:30 pm - 11 pm PST

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience programming, integrating or troubleshooting industrial robots from OEMs such as ABB or FANUC, or PLCs, NCs, HMIs, or Drives such as Siemens, FANUC or Allen Bradley
3+ years of experience working in cross functional teams
3+ years of experience complying with industry standards including electrical and safety codes
3+ years of experience with hardware and/or software configuration management
Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following areas is highly preferred:
Aerospace Engineering

Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering Technology
Industrial & Systems Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering Technology
Manufacturing Systems Engineering
Material Sciences and Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
Plastics Engineering
Plastics Engineering Technology
Structural Engineering

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
