Over the course of the 12 week summer internship you will:

• Plan and implement production process as needed for new and current products
• Drive quality through internal and external root cause countermeasure of failures
• Identify and drive cost saving opportunities within the factory
• Advise engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities and standard practices to contribute to the development of new designs--
• Troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Coordinate design changes for existing parts and products
• Validate manufacturing and mechanical parts and subassemblies to print and design intent
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities with fellow interns as a member of the Fluke Internship ProgramQualifications:
  • Obtaining a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Root cause analysis using various Problem-Solving methodologies--
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results
  • Exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action--
  • Hands-on approach / experience with manufacturing processes preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills; effectively present information and respond to feedback at any level within the organization.Working Conditions and Basic Requirements: ---Shop floor bullpen style offices
