school days JOB SUMMARY Eastside Catholic School is seeking a
part-time (0.6-0.8 FTE) High School Marketing teacher to join the
Business and Communication Department for the 2026-27 school year.
The successful candidate is an educator who will foster students'
understanding and appreciation of marketing while creating an
engaging, supportive classroom environment. The ideal candidate is
passionate about teaching, has experience in the field of business
and marketing, inspires young learners, and holds a strong belief
in every student's potential for intellectual growth. Specific
Responsibilities Establish clear objectives for assigned lessons,
learning targets and projects and communicate these to students,
following the department's curriculum Plan and teach three
Marketing courses: Marketing I, II and III, utilizing current
pedagogical best practices Develop the curriculum materials,
syllabus, outlines and assessments in alignment with the department
and course description. Monitor and assess each student's
development and progress in a fair and consistent manner
Participate in all faculty and department meetings as required
Serve as DECA Co-Advisor and help run DECA Student Store Attend
DECA competitions and help lead student fundraising projects
Required Knowledge, skills and abilities Strong understanding of
and experience with business and/or marketing curriculum at the
high school level Experience with differentiated instruction to
serve all students in a classroom • Proficiency with classroom
technology • Effectively create positive relationships with
students and families • Strong interpersonal, collaborative,
communication and organizational skills A commitment to practices
that promote equity, inclusion and a sense of belonging Education
and experience Bachelor's degree or higher with a focus in business
or a related field Proven experience teaching at the high school
level A teaching certificate is preferred Salary Range: $55,000 �
$110,741
