Job Description Job Description We’re looking for experienced, EPA 608 certified and 06A licensed (preferred) HVAC Technicians to join our team. $30-$45 hourly (depending on experience) plus incentives & bonuses Gary’s Plumbing & Heating is a locally owned Whatcom County company. We are growing because we only hire the best, and our customers love us for it. The Role: We are looking for exceptional HVAC Service Technicians who will deliver all-star customer service. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will service, diagnose, repair, replace and install HVAC systems for customers within Whatcom County. We primarily service residential heating and cooling systems such as furnaces, heat pumps, mini splits, etc., and occasionally commercial systems. You will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team. You will demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality service, every time. You will operate out of your own Gary’s vehicle and be expected to manage your time efficiently. Gary’s will provide you with a phone and tablet for work use; being tech savvy is a plus, but not necessary. You will work with customers one on one and develop relationships and trust on a personal level. Form a bond that has customers requesting you again and again. Great customer service is why our customers love us. Requirements: EPA 608 refrigeration certification. 06A specialty electrician HVAC license (preferred). Driver's license. Safe driving habits. Driving record that is clean and valid. Integrity and honesty, through and through. Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Strong verbal and written communications. Advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections with people. Strong desire to grow; Be better tomorrow than you are today. Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Highly motivated, self-starter who’s flexible and has a great attitude on life.
