This position requires Evening and occasional Weekend availability. We are currently looking to fill a Fitness Manager position at our Fremont location. This position is full-time. Schedule 30–40 hours per week ; weekly evening and occasional weekend availability for events and coverage. Reports to: General Manager Full-time salary range: $60,000–$80,000 annually , plus benefits. Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to growth metrics. What we offer: Mentorship and career development Leadership opportunities Team members that push each other to their full potential Benefits packages (details below) Fitness membership 25% off cash services Duties and Requirements: Business Strategy and Operations Ownership of department operations, goals, and team member success Lead generation, new client conversion, and long-term health of customer relationships Track performance of department vs targets, communicate improvement strategies to GM Interface with other departments and collaborate for interdisciplinary referrals Performance & Productivity Expectations (Service Delivery) Maintain and grow a full personal training/coaching schedule Lead by example in session quality, client retention, and conversion Build and manage personal sales funnels through referrals and community engagement Proactively develop skills in coaching, personal training, and VO2 Max services Demonstrate accountability to customer experience, productivity and growth metrics Manage and Develop Fitness Team Onboard, assist, and develop new fitness team members Maintain culture of feedback and excellence consistent with EM values Manage personal training and coaching schedules Support staff in growing their effectiveness in conversion and sales Customer Experience/Service Provision Lead by example by maintaining schedule and high standard of service provided Manage client communication, satisfaction, and retention. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gym environment. Desired Education/ Certifications: Current CPR NASM, CSCS, USAW National Certification or a 4-year degree Experience & Skills: Personal Training: over 1 year Group fitness: over 1 year Prior management experience in retail/hospitality/fitness industry leading 3-10 employees Fitness management/Business Strategy Proven Sales Experience Exemplary Customer Service Skills -passionate about creating an outstanding customer experience Community engagement Strong coaching background (group fitness and personal training) Enthusiastic, personable, and passionate about building community Embodies EM’s values and demonstrates hunger for growth Accountable and organized, takes ownership of responsibilities and tasks with attention to detail Comfortable working with technology and learning scheduling system Collaborative, with the ability to work well in a team environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting heavy weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting & prolonged standing and walking Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds Who We Are: Experience Momentum started in Lynnwood, WA 18 years ago and has since expanded to Seattle (Fremont) and Mill Creek.
