ABOUT ACHIEVE CENTER PEDIATRIC THERAPYFounded in 2004 and born out of a desire to help children who face challenges in their development to progress and achieve their potential, we provide pediatric speech, physical, and occupational therapy. The "achieve" in our name comes from our belief that every child has within them the capacity to improve. Today, we serve children and their families in the Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Spokane, and Kennewick/Tri-Cities areas with a team of over 40 professional therapists and staff. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTThis Administrative Assistant position is responsible for supporting the human resources, payroll, and accounts payable functions within the company. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting staff and key functions throughout the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist human resources with posting jobs, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, maintaining payroll/human resources systems and providing staff support
  • Assist accounting with processing payroll, monitoring/approving paid time off, and accounts payable
  • Filing, scanning, photocopying, answering phones, and general office duties
  • Collate and distribute mail
  • Maintain office supply inventory
  • Interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Handle multiple tasks with interruption; work independently
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and follow-through skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and balance multiple assignments
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills with courtesy and professionalism
  • Follow appropriate channels of communication
  • Other duties as assigned
    QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Ability to type 40+ WPM
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to multitaskTwo or more years of work experience as an administrative assistant, human resources assistant, office assistant, bookkeeper, or related field is required.Public Health Emergency Mandate: The successful candidate will be required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and will be required to meet future vaccination mandates as applicable unless a medical or religious exemption applies.
