Finance Manager, AWS Sustainability Finance The AWS
Infrastructure Finance team provides end-to-end financial support,
driving AWS to be the lowest cost provider in cloud computing. We
are looking for a Finance Manager to join the AWS Energy &
Sustainability Finance team within the AWS Infrastructure Finance
organization. AWS's sustainability mission is one of the most
consequential financial programs in the company. The AWS Energy &
Sustainability team is responsible for (1) delivering energy to AWS
data centers, (2) procuring carbon-free energy to support our
sustainability goals, and (3) developing our global sustainability
and CFE strategy. This role sits at the intersection of finance,
energy markets, and sustainability strategy, owning the financial
oversight of Amazon's global renewable energy and carbon-free
energy portfolio. In this role, you can expect to: - Own financial
planning, analysis, and controllership for AWS's global
sustainability and carbon-free energy portfolio, including
renewable energy PPAs, RECs, and carbon programs - Lead financial
evaluation of sustainability-related investments and programs,
developing models to assess deal economics, risks, and
portfolio-level returns - Build and maintain reporting frameworks
for sustainability opex and capex, including REC compliance costs,
CFE performance, and renewable energy contract settlements -
Partner with the sustainability business team, accounting, legal,
and technical product teams to support month-end close, quarterly
reviews, and long-range planning - Develop deep expertise in
renewable energy markets, RPS compliance mechanisms, carbon
markets, and the financial structures underlying long-term CFE
agreements - Drive automation and process improvements to scale
financial reporting as the portfolio grows - Provide strategic
financial recommendations to senior leadership on sustainability
investments, CFE procurement strategy, and portfolio optimization -
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business
reviews for VP level audiences - 5 years of tax, finance or a
related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance,
accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field
(e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 6 years of solving
complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely
financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven
impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational
improvements, or customer benefits) experience - 6 years of
identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root
cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience -
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance
analysis, and data interpretation of results - Experience working
with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS
Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples:
Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience in energy,
sustainability, or infrastructure finance - Understanding of
renewable energy markets, carbon-free energy frameworks, RPS
compliance, or sustainability reporting Amazon is an equal

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
