Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Renton,
Washington. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial
records and supporting the company's overall financial health. The
ideal candidate will bring expertise in general ledger accounting
and have a strong background in financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities: • Supervise and evaluate the work of accounting
staff to ensure adherence to established accounting practices. •
Manage core accounting functions, including accounts payable,
accounts receivable, general ledger, sales tax payments, and
inventory control. • Review and maintain accurate financial records
related to assets, liabilities, and other key transactions. • Act
as the primary contact during annual financial audits, working
closely with external auditors. • Handle month-end closings,
prepare journal entries, and maintain general ledger accounts. •
Conduct inventory roll forwards, fixed asset tracking, and margin
analysis while preparing schedules to support financial statements.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare
detailed reports for management. • Assist in the implementation of
new accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency. •
Perform additional accounting-related duties as assigned. The
salary range for this position is $75k to $90k. Benefits available
with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and
disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan
with 4% match and 15 days of paid vacation and paid sick leave and
9 paid holidays per calendar year. • Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of four years of
experience in accounting and general ledger management with a
strong attention to detail. • Strong proficiency in month-end close
processes, journal entries, and account reconciliation. •
Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations and financial
analysis. • Familiarity with cost accounting, commissions, and
inventory control. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
with attention to detail. • Previous experience with accounting
systems is preferred, though specific system knowledge is not
required. • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively
with auditors and team members.
